Great collection of songs, some of which I hadn't heard before tonight. I've never seen that Eurythmics video, really enjoyed that one. The only Adam Ant song I knew was "Goody Two Shoes" so I liked seeing he continued after that. Vintage Heart was cool, I was such a fan in the 80's that I forgot they had that Renaissance Faire look in the 70's. And Tom Petty is one of the best songwriters in rock. Also a fan of that Babyface song, always thought it was his best tune. Very nice.
Glad you enjoyed it, Mr. Mike. I've never much cared for female voices, but these four here are undoubtedly some of the best (as well as Aretha). I can't believe that you only knew one Adam Ant song. You are such a child of the 80's! How could you not know more? Maybe it was just a East Coast thing. I used to have all his stuff. (on cassette, no less) I love his sense of the ridiculous and his twisted sense of humor.
