Ho! Ho! Ho! Merry Christmas!

Courtesy of your friend, the candy making Elf.

Some of my fudge and sugar free chocolates firming up.

Close-up of the cute little chocolate mold I picked up at Walmart the other day. These are sugar-free peppermint candy cane chocolates for my sister-in-law. Hope she likes them.

Goodie bags queuing up to be filled...

Platters for the shop at Pete's work getting started...

What's inside the sack, Santa?

This is it, so far...

Individual sized Panettone (made 12 small loafs and one large one)
Pecan Penuche (made two batches)
Maple Walnut Fudge (made four batches)
White Chocolate Peppermint Fudge (made 5 batches*)
*had to make 5 of the peppermint because Pete keeps eating it

Close-up of the Candied Orange and Lemon Peel that I made, specifically for the home-made Panettone that I make. It's a thing I'm fairly proud of having the knack for doing. This stuff is to die for! I hope I can be forgiven for this show of hubris.

Our beautiful Christmas Tree. Hung with mostly ornaments that Thomas has made over the years, and special ornaments that have been given to me by people I care about. A few old store-bought ones that I've had for years. This tree makes me especially happy this year. Don't know why.

Okay, I'm off to make 3 more batches of Mocha Fudge. Love to all.

The tree is beautiful and all the candy looks so yummy. I really like the molds. Very cuts. I do not know how you resist eating it all.

That is so awesome, both the candy and the tree. You truly have a gift. For that matter, you ARE a gift:-)

OMG- I gained five pounds just looking at your blog!

I know what it takes to make a good Panettone. You definitely have baking talent, my friend. :D

Wow. Wow. Wow. Your house is transformed into a Christmas factory. It's so, so out of a movie for me. I cannot believe the honest people at the post office do not snag something.

Your tree looks great too. Should do really do one handmade decoration every year.

Pam, my entire house smells like sugar. Just breathing is almost as good as eating. I'm trying sooooo hard to be good, too. Thankfully, Thomas has a knack for testing the fudge and candies, and he also isn't shy about telling me the truth. So I've been letting him taste test for me. :)

Thank you so much Snowy. YOU are a gift, too.

Thank you Jeannie. Do you make the panettone, too? I love that stuff. Was running out of eggs when I made the last batch so used 3 whole eggs instead of 6 egg yolks. The texture was a tad bit chewier and I thought I discerned a tiny bit of difference in the taste, but Pete said he couldn't tell. It was still good.

Chaki, the postal workers probably get really tired of all the candy they have to deliver this time of year. Fudge gets HEAVY after a while. :) I generally put a small gift of it in my mail box for my carrier anyway, if it's cool enough so that it won't melt. They aren't supposed to take gifts, I don't think, but as long as only he and I know...

Thank you Mr. Mike. The tree reminds me of something from the old 8mm tapes from when I was really little. Remember how basic and "homey" our trees were when we were little. Homemade decorations and pictures and candycanes... popcorn strings... did you guys ever do that?

Your tree is so pretty and how talented you are with making all the candy. It looks so good. I can understand why someone would want to try all your goodies! Merry Christmas to you and your family.

As a kid my family did do the homemade popcorn string and the melted plastic strawberry baskets that you spread glitter and fabric on after as ornaments. And I'm pretty sure we did it in 8mm too!

Oh I used to visit people with the popcorn on a string and I couldn't help myself and I'd start eating popcorn in the back of someone's tree!!!!! LMAO I've gotten busted a few times but they didn't mind.. they'd just take pictures and say to eat from the back so the pictures don't come out with just string across the front with no popcorn! LOL

SKW I adore the pictures.. looks like one of those holiday stores all organized :D

We used to make ornaments with walnuts. The whole ones, obviously, in the shell. lol They look really cute if you paint them up with glitter, put on a little cotton for hair and/or beard and a little red fabric for a hat. Way cool.
